The only coin ever minted for Prince Edward Island was this one year only 1871 one cent coin. Two years later Prince Edward Island was to enter in Confederation. These 150 plus year old coins are 95% copper and make a truly beautiful ring. Each coin ring is carefully handcrafted by our skilled artisan taking extreme care to preserve the fine details of the Prince Edward Island script and designs showing on the outside, and the year still clearly visible on the inside of the ring. Over a 150 years of history shows through in the wear and small nicks from this coin passing through generations of hands making each and every ring a truly one of a kind, unique creation. Available in a patina finish, or in a polished finish, in sizes 3 through 10.

Crafted for a lifetime of enjoyment, we know you will love this ring. As with all copper jewelry, some skin types are prone to discoloration from the copper. This does not harm and simply washes off.
Take care of your copper ring by removing it when working or in areas with the possibility of rough or abrasive surfaces coming into contact with the ring. Do not expose the ring to harsh soaps, detergents, chemical or chlorine. The copper will oxidize over time and this is easily removed with a silver polishing cloth.
